Garden Hotel Museum

The first themed museum dedicated to the hospitality industry.

Garden Hotel Museum is a flagship cultural tourism initiative of Lingnan Group in the new era. It extends the Garden brand’s cultural value, preserves the heritage of the accommodation industry, chronicles the evolution of Guangzhou as a millennium-old commercial city, and serves as a platform for cross-disciplinary dialogue among industry, academia and research institutions.

Developed in partnership with the China Tourism Academy, it is the first museum of its kind jointly established with the Academy. Leveraging the Academy’s leading expertise in tourism research, the Museum is also home to the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area Accommodation Industry Development Research Base. Officially opened on 18 May 2022, it is China’s first museum dedicated to the accommodation industry.

​​​​​​​Located on the fourth floor of LN Garden Hotel Guangzhou, the Museum covers approximately 1,600 square metres. Its facilities include six permanent exhibition halls, a professional exhibition and performance hall, a 360-degree immersive multimedia theatre, and a cultural and creative leisure centre. Integrating exhibitions, collections and research, public education, and cultural lifestyle experiences, the Museum offers a multifaceted journey into the history and future of hospitality.
